Christopher L. Lambrecht

Attorney Christopher L. Lambrecht is the head of the litigation team at ALG and he brings a wide range of legal experience with him. After graduating from Marquette University Law School, Chris began his career handling complex consumer bankruptcy cases in the Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. In Bankruptcy Court, Chris’s attention to detail and strategic use of the Bankruptcy Code and related laws helped hundreds of clients obtain a fresh start. More importantly, Chris’s empathy and heart for service helped him to connect with and calmly guide clients struggling under the weight of personal and financial crisis.

After transitioning into litigation, Chris focused primarily on insurance defense work, representing individuals, businesses, and other private organizations facing legal challenges in an increasingly litigious environment. Often, Chris had the opportunity to be an advocate and advisor for clients who had never had so much as a speeding ticket, let alone been sued by anybody for any reason. Chris again found that the most rewarding part of defense litigation was being able to help clients in crisis and calmly guide them through a process that can seem endless, confusing, and chaotic.

After joining ALG, Chris’s litigation focus has expanded while still remaining committed to serving and helping clients navigate the often-frustrating complexities of litigation. Chris strives to be more than just a zealous advocate, but also a trusted friend and advisor to clients that range from homeowners to contractors to parochial schools and many in between. Chris prides himself on his honesty and rapport with clients as he helps them make decisions on how to achieve the best and most practical outcomes in difficult situations.

Chris is a lifelong resident of Southeastern Wisconsin with a love for the communities he serves. Chris grew up in Waukesha and can trace his family roots back over 150 years to a farmstead in Brookfield. Chris is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in American History. While at Wisconsin Lutheran College, Chris served as the president of the Student History Association and as a tutor for the history department. Yes, Chris loves history. .

Chris lives in Pewaukee with his wife and his son. He is an active member at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church and School in Brookfield where he serves as an usher, the Chairman of the Board of Evangelism, and a member of the Church Council. You may have even seen him picking up trash on the side of Springdale Road or marching in the City of Brookfield Fourth of July parade with his church. Chris is an avid baseball fan, a history nerd, a heavy metal enthusiast, a lover of “bad” movies, has met Tommy Wiseau three times, and can be easily convinced to spend a couple of hours at the cigar lounge.
